Jennifer Throndsen

Ph.D., Educational Consultant — Literacy, K–12

Dr. Jennifer Throndsen is an Educational Services Consultant with CORE. An experienced educator driven by impacting student learning, she takes pride in developing and designing policy, resources, and supports to help other educators serve student as best possible. Prior to serving as the Director of Teaching and Learning for the Utah State Board of Education, Jennifer worked as an elementary and middle school teacher, instructional coach, adjunct professor, and district office specialist. She earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics Curriculum and Instruction from USU in 2018.

In addition to her primary job functions, Jennifer has been recognized for her extraordinary commitment to early learning. She is a Utah native yet seeks any opportunity she can to travel. Jennifer is looking forward to visiting Antarctica this year.
