Dolores Gordon

Ph.D., Educational Consultant — Math, K-8

Dolores Gordon is an Educational Services Consultant for CORE. She is passionate about cultivating an equitable learning environment where all students have access to high quality learning materials using evidence- based instructional practices. Prior to joining CORE in 2023, Dolores was an Instructional Mathematics Coach for the past thirteen years and taught Middle School Mathematics for 23 years. During that time, she developed a deep understanding of how to effectively teach and engage students in math. Dolores has also had the opportunity to lead professional development for teachers in the district where she was employed and in surrounding districts. Dolores is adept at presenting complex mathematical concepts in an understandable way and helping teachers understand and apply new teaching strategies.

Dolores holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Bethune-Cookman University, Daytona Beach, Florida, a Master’s degree in K-12 Education from Cambridge College, Cambridge, MA and an PhD in K-12 Educational Leadership from Trident University International, Cypress, CA.
