Educational Services Specialist

Cara has over twenty-five years of experience in literacy education. She taught at the elementary level, but has a special place in her heart for primary grade students and teachers. She has served as an Instructional Coach and Instructional Facilitator in large diverse school districts in Washington state, leading curriculum implementation and professional development for special education and general education staff around inclusive practices, differentiation and multi-tiered systems of support. As an Educational Services Specialist at CORE Learning, Cara has provided professional learning and coaching around science-based literacy practices at the elementary level. Cara is passionate about developing teachers’ capacity to provide high-quality teaching and learning to ALL students.
