Caitlin Burkholder-Travis is an Educational Services Consultant with CORE. Caitlin has over 18 years of experience in education as a teacher, reading interventionist, EL Coordinator, MTSS Coordinator, Instructional Coach, and an Assistant Principal. She has worked in schools in California, South Africa, Texas, and Tennessee. She has spent much of her career preparing teachers and providing ongoing coaching and professional development to educators and school leaders with a particular focus on at-risk students and high-need schools. In addition, she has worked as an educational consultant with districts focusing on strategic planning, equity, and school readiness assessments.

Caitlin’s passion is teacher development and sustainability. She believes that all teachers can be highly effective when provided with targeted support, research-based best practices, and high-quality instructional materials. As part of this belief, she focuses on supporting teachers to develop their authentic selves inside their classrooms in order to become advocates for themselves and their students.
