Bridget McNeill

Educational Consultant — Literacy, PreK-8

Bridget McNeill is an Educational Services Consultant with CORE. Bridget is a veteran educator who has worked in rural, urban, and suburban school districts with diverse populations, including multilingual learners, students with disabilities, and students deemed high-risk. Bridget has experience in elementary and secondary schools as a classroom teacher, MTSS coordinator, and literacy coach. Bridget has worked with in-service and pre-service teachers providing professional development, serving as mentor teacher, and as a model classroom for international visiting teachers. She has worked in leadership roles, including serving as ELA department chair and grade-level chair. Bridget has been the recipient of several grants for literacy, including a national grant awarded by SEL in Action. Bridget has presented at national conferences, as well as providing professional development at the state, district, and school levels. She is passionate about building literacy skills in all students by following the science of reading and writing. In addition, she is passionate about building student capacity by providing all students with safe and brave spaces to learn.

Bridget holds multiple certifications for PK-8th grade in Reading, ELA, Math, Social Sciences, and Curriculum & Instruction. Bridget holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. She earned her teaching certification through coursework at Millsaps College in Mississippi, and her Master’s in Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Valdosta State University in Georgia.
