Audra McPhillips

Educational Consultant — Math, K-8

Audra McPhillips is an Educational Services Consultant with CORE. Audra has spent more than 25 years in public education including 12 years in the classroom teaching first grade, high school mathematics and sixth grade math and science. She then transitioned into her current role as a PreK-12 Mathematics Instructional Coach for a Rhode Island school district. Audra is adjunct faculty at a university where she teaches both a Strategies for Mathematics and an Assessment for Learning in the MAT and MEd program. She served on the Board of Directors for EdReports for 7 years and is an Educational Service consultant for a variety of companies specializing in research-based mathematics instruction.

Facilitating professional development in mathematics is truly Audra’s passion. She is committed to influencing systems and providing teachers with the tools that they need, in order to ensure equitable outcomes in the classroom for all students. Audra believes that all students deserve to learn in a space where they can show up as their authentic selves, have their brilliance affirmed, receive high quality instruction and find their joy!
