CORE’s Colorado Early Literacy Grant Schools All Met Their State Goals!

We’re extremely proud of the hard work all three CORE Colorado Early Literacy grant sites have done to meet all their required state goals.

Lamar schools saw students with Significant Reading Deficiency decreasing from 14.6% spring of 2013 to 6.42% spring of 2015.

In Delta County, Lincoln Elementary started in 2013 with 116 students at the intensive level (33%) and only 55% at benchmark. At the end of 2015, the numbers went to only 44 students intensive and 77% at benchmark moving from the lowest performing elementary school in the district to among the top three!
