Allison Carter is Vice President, Curriculum Services at Pivot Learning. The portfolio she leads focuses on educational equity through the adoption and implementation of high-quality instructional materials and aligned, equitable instruction. Before Allison led the Curriculum Services portfolio, she led a different, broader portfolio of services at Pivot, including school district strategic planning and student-based budgeting.

Prior to leading portfolios, Allison was a project manager, leading large-scale change initiatives with school districts across the US, including Chicago Public Schools, Los Angeles USD, Spokane, and Seattle School Districts.

Allison earned an MA in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership Studies and an MST in Elementary Education from Pace University in New York City. Allison started her career as an elementary school teacher in New York City.
