Dr. Kristilynn Turney is an Educational Consultant for CORE Learning.  As a leading consultant, speaker, and author, Dr. Turney leverages over 25 years of K–12 experience, ranging from classroom instruction to top-tier district leadership. From her days as an English teacher to her work as a consultant, she has consistently supported, researched, and coached teachers and leaders to identify best practices and promote literacy. Dr. Turney’s impact extends beyond her consulting work. She has authored several articles and two books. In her trailblazing role as the first Black principal in two large suburban schools, she led initiatives to address English as a Second Language (ESL) literacy, student achievement, and community engagement.

Dr.Turney holds a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education-Communications from Bowling Green State University, a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Xavier University, and a Doctorate in Educational Management and Leadership from Capella University. She is based in Cincinnati, Ohio, and remains committed to inspiring educational excellence wherever she works.
