Dr. Kelsey Carroll, a Language and Literacy Facilitator with CORE, has specialized in instructional strategies supporting English Language Learners (ELL) since 2009. Her academic background includes a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Education and Leadership from Oklahoma State University, as well as a Doctor of Education specializing in ELL from Northcentral University.
With experience teaching at all educational levels, from elementary to adult, Dr. Carroll employs differentiated instruction in multicultural classrooms. In her work, she conducts research focused on emotionally responsive learning and welcoming newcomer students and families. Additionally, she develops curricula centered on language acquisition and cultural sustaining pedagogies, and actively supports educators of multilingual learners.
