Amber McKinney, M.Ed., is an Educational Consultant for CORE and an accomplished educator with over 15 years of experience in K-12 education. Her expertise spans across multiple disciplines and grade levels, and she has excelled in a diverse range of roles, including reading interventionist, classroom teacher, literacy director, instructional coach, and school administrator. Amber has a strong passion for literacy and is committed to ensuring that all students have access to high-quality literacy instruction. She has extensive experience designing professional learning experiences, developing and implementing literacy programs, and facilitating sessions with educators across the nation.

Amber holds undergraduate degrees in Africana studies and television, film, and new media production from San Diego State University. She also earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Louisiana State University.
