Amanda Freeman is an Educational Consultant with CORE Learning. She is a licensed reading specialist, English as a Second Language (ESL) specialist, and a certified Dyslexia Interventionist with The Center for Effective Reading Instruction. She earned her M.Ed. in Literacy Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and is pursuing a doctoral degree.
Over her 18-year career, Amanda served as a general education teacher, special education teacher, literacy coach, and district Response to Instruction and Intervention (RTI ²) lead supporting learners in urban and suburban schools across the United States and abroad. As a professional learning consultant, she leverages her deep knowledge of Structured Literacy to maximize student potential by providing data-driven instructional coaching to teachers and school administrators. Amanda is committed to supporting all stakeholders to bridge the gap between literacy research and classroom practice and accelerate language and literacy learning for every student.
