Jody Shell

Account Executive

Jody Shell is an Account Executive at CORE Learning, where she partners with educators and district leaders to strengthen instruction and improve student outcomes. She works closely with school districts to understand their unique needs and connect them with evidence-based solutions that support literacy growth and teacher success.

Before joining CORE, Jody spent more than a decade in education as a high school and college English teacher, humanities program lead, and literacy teacher. In her transition from teaching, Jody has helped districts implement curriculum, intervention, and supplemental programs that directly support classroom instruction.

Jody holds a Master’s degree in English and a Bachelor’s degree in Education and has completed extensive graduate coursework in literacy education. Her philosophy is rooted in the belief that strong instruction changes lives, and she values building lasting relationships with educators to make that impact possible.

Outside of work, Jody enjoys spending time with her grown children and her cat, Hamlet, traveling to Europe, attending concerts, reading, and exploring the outdoors as much as possible.
