PUSD Secondary Performance on the California Standards Test

 

CORE worked as a partner with Pasadena Unified School District over three years to implement a three-tier support model and significantly restructure literacy instructional delivery across all contents.

Closing the Achievement Gap in PUSD: 9th Grade Gains

In 2006 every subgroup in all four high schools made AYP. Every racial/ethnic group made significant improvement in reading on the CST during the 2003–2006 time span.

Results from the Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL) Data for Grade 7

CORE staff provided professional development support to Yakima's four middle schools for three years. WASL scores are one of the state measures used to determine AYP. As indicated by the state target lines, the four middle schools reached or nearly reached the state targets in reading. In fact, all four schools made dramatic, sustained progress.
