Educational Consultant

CORE is building a diverse workforce and is seeking individuals for full-time and part-time positions with a strong desire to further its reform efforts in literacy. As a CORE Educational Consultant, you will be integral to meeting the professional needs of a school or district. This involves providing professional development, providing on-site consultation, and assisting with district implementation plans. This position also involves serving as a resource to district/site level administrators, teacher leaders, and other site personnel. Extensive presentation experience as well as a strong understanding of scientifically based reading research is a must for consideration of this position. Extensive travel required.

Part-time Educational Consultants work with CORE a minimum of five days per month (excluding weekends). Part-time positions are hourly, non-exempt, and are not benefits-eligible positions. Full-time positions are salaried, exempt from overtime, and eligible to participate in CORE's comprehensive benefits plan. Physical Demands/Environment
This job is performed in the standard home office environment and on the road. This position requires 75% of time to be spent traveling in states across the nation.

Freelance Curriculum Writers

CORE is building a diverse workforce and is regularly seeking individuals with a strong desire to further its reform efforts in literacy. CORE is currently seeking Freelance Curriculum Writers for an intensive reading intervention project with completion expected 4 to 5 months from date of hire. The applicants should have experience writing K–12 curricula/assessments and correlating academic standards for reading/language arts and ESL/ELL. Experience in educational publishing highly desired. You will work from your place of convenience and are expected to have your own office equipped with the versions of software used on CORE projects. Educators are strongly encouraged to apply.
